Directorial Decree on “Contents of forms for the submission of the check lists pursuant to article 6, paragraph 9 of the legislative decree 3 April 2006, n. 152, as amended by legislative decree 16 June 2017, n. 104 for wind farms”

The Directorate-General for the Environmental Assessments and Authorizations of the Ministry of the Environment has issued the Directorial Decree no. 48 of 5 February 2018 on the contents of forms for the submission of the check list for the preliminary assessment, provided for in Article 6, paragraph 9, of the legislative decree n. 152/2006, of wind farms.

Following the adoption of the Directorial decree no. 239 of 3 August 2017 by which have been defined the contents of the forms applicable to all projects listed in annexes II, II-bis, III and IV to the second part of legislative decree n. 152/2006, in accordance with Article 25, paragraph 1, of the legislative decree n. 104/2017, the checklist to be used for the specific project type of wind farms has been defined.

The modernisation of existing plants represents an opportunity to increase the efficiency of energy production from renewable energy sources and to contribute to achieving the objectives of the National Energy Strategy 2017.
