Environmental Assessments and Authorizations: SEA - EIA - IPPC Permit

The Directorate-General for the Environmental Assessment of the Ministry of the Environment has defined new "Provisions concerning the payment of the contribution of 0.5 per thousand for the works subject to national Environmental Impact Assessment procedure (Article 9, paragraph 6 of Presidential Decree of 14 May 2007, no. 90 and Articles 23 and 33 of Decree 152/2006 as amended by the Decree 128/2010)".

The new provisions, based on current regulations, reformulate and update the Circular of the Ministry of the Environment (no. 22981 of 18 October 2004) making it easier for the developers the payment of the contribution of 0.5 per thousand.

The provisions also provide for a form for the statement in lieu of a notarised document attesting the value of the work for the purposes of calculation of 0.5 per thousand and a form for the presentation of the general economic framework of the work to be both compiled and transmitted together with the receipt of payment of the contribution of 0.5 per thousand.
