Clarifications about the project’s category "Canalization and flood-relief works"

The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region submitted to the DG Environmental Assessments a question about the new definition of the project category listed in Annex IV to the Second Part of the Legislative Decree no. 152/2006, as amended, point 7, letter o) " Canalization and flood-relief works ", introduced in article 15, paragraph 1, letter q) of the Law Decree 91/2014.

The answer provided by the DG Environmental Assessments is published in full in order to allow the competent authorities and the developers to apply correctly and homogeneously the scope of the new definition of the project category throughout the national territory, in line with the provisions of Directive 2011/92/EU.
