Environmental Assessments and Authorizations: SEA - EIA - IPPC Permit

The conference "SEA - A five-year period of application" organized by the National Consortium of Universities for Earth Resources Engineering (CINIGeo) and sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment, Land and Sea, which will be held at the University of Trieste on June 29 and 30, presents a synthesis report on the Strategic Environmental Assessment in Italy, almost five years after the entry into force of Part II of the Legislative Decree no. 152/2006.

According to the programme, the conference is organized into four thematic sessions, analyzing the results of the application of SEA in relation to the themes of the territorial government, methodological and technical solutions prepared and critical issues that still persist at national and regional level, with an excursus on SEA in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, offering ample food for thought on the topics of SEA procedures and cross-border integration between the environmental assessment procedures.
