Sarpom Refinery in the municipality of Trecate - Reunification of EIA and IPPC procedures

The Sarpom Company on the 8th of June 2012 presented the application for a preliminary environmental compatibility for the project "Changing management of the refinery in the Municipality of Trecate (NO)".

Given that the Sarpom company has started the procedure for granting an IPPC permit which has not been completed yet, in order to improve the efficiency of the administrative action and in the light of Article 10 paragraph I of Legislative Decree 152/2006 as amended, the reunification of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedure with the procedure for granting an IPPC permit to Sarpom Refinery located in the Municipality of Trecate (Novara) has been laid down.
