Published the scoping opinion containing the results of the consultations which took place among the competent authority, the developer and the subjects competent in environmental matters for defining the contents of the environmental impact study (Scoping) pursuant to article 21 of Legislative Decree 152/2006 for the New maritime station in Porto Marghera.

The project involves the relocation of the maritime station and the berthing of cruise ships in the dismissed industrial site of Porto Marghera, using the existing Canale dei Petroli as waterway access.

The new passenger port in Porto Marghera represents an alternative to the transit of passenger ships of more than 40,000 GT in the Giudecca Canal as provided for by Ministerial Decree of the 2 March, 2012.
