The EIA compliance (Strategic works Law 443/2001) determination (DVA-DEC-2015-0000223 of 1 July 2015) on the prescriptions of the  Ordinance n. 9 of 14 April 2015 of the Commissioner for the execution of the works relating to railway Naples-Bari and Palermo-Catania-Messina, about the project New connection Palermo-Catania - Doubling of the track between Bicocca-Catenanuova. Elimination of the level crossing at km 3+369, has been issued with favourable outcome.
