Description: The geothermal pilot plant of Castel Giorgio provides for the use of the thermal energy from the geothermal field of Torre Alfina consisting of 5 production wells of hot water located in 3 pitches (CG1, CG2, CG3), a piping system carrying hot water from the wells to the ORC plant for the production of electricity by recovering heat from the hot geothermal water, 4 injection wells of geothermal water located in a single pitch (CG14).
