Description: The river basin of the Eastern Alps affects both the national territory (Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Lombardy, Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano) and part of the territory of Slovenia, Switzerland and Austria with a total extent of about 39.385 sq km. The Management Plan aims to the planning, implementation and monitoring of the protection measures, reclamation and improvement of surface and underground water.
